Engineered for Southeast Asian Infrastructure

The MF-Series Flanged Polygonal Monopole Tower represents Xytower's advanced engineering solution for high-voltage transmission and heavy telecommunications loads in challenging tropical environments. Our proprietary 8-to-12-sided polygonal geometry reduces aerodynamic drag by 15% compared to conventional cylindrical poles, critical for installations in typhoon-prone regions of Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines.

Designed for 66kV through 220kV transmission lines, the MF-Series features precision CNC-machined flanges with high-strength friction grip bolted connections (Grade 8.8/10.9), enabling rapid field assembly without specialized welding equipment. The slip-joint or flanged connection options accommodate varying site constraints and foundation specifications, while the tapered steel shaft optimizes material utilization and bending moment distribution.

Typhoon-Resistant Engineering
Tested to withstand sustained winds of 200 km/h (55.6 m/s) and gusts to 250 km/h per IEC 60652 structural loading criteria.
Zero-Maintenance Galvanizing
ASTM A123 compliant hot-dip galvanizing with minimum 86μm zinc coating (610g/m²) ensures 50+ year service life.
Modular Transport Design
Sectional construction reduces shipping volume by 40%, minimizing logistics costs for Myanmar and Thailand project sites.

Engineering Design Features

Advanced structural solutions for demanding environments

01

Polygonal Geometry

Our 8-to-12 sided polygonal cross-section reduces wind load coefficient by 15% compared to conventional round poles. The faceted design disrupts vortex shedding patterns, minimizing oscillation during high-wind events common in Southeast Asian monsoon conditions.

8-Sided Polygonal Section
02

Flange Connection System

High-precision CNC-drilled flanges with serrated washers ensure uniform load distribution and prevent bolt loosening under cyclic loading. Each flange undergoes 100% dimensional inspection with CMM verification to ±0.5mm tolerance.

M24 Grade 8.8 Bolts
03

Anti-Corrosion System

Double-layer hot-dip galvanizing with optional polyurethane coating provides superior protection in coastal Thailand and Malaysia environments. Zinc coating exceeds ASTM A123 requirements with 610g/m² minimum mass per surface area.

Frequently Asked Questions

Technical and procurement inquiries

Do you provide foundation design calculations?
Yes, our engineering team provides complete foundation design calculations including geotechnical analysis, anchor bolt patterns, and base plate specifications. We require soil bearing capacity data and wind zone classification for your project location. Foundation designs are certified by registered structural engineers and comply with local building codes (Malaysia MS, Thailand TIS, Myanmar MES, etc.).
What is the lead time for 50 units to Malaysia?
Standard lead time for 50 units of MF-Series monopole towers (30m height) is 12-14 weeks FOB Qingdao. This includes 6-7 weeks manufacturing, 1 week galvanizing and curing, and 1-2 weeks export packing and documentation. Shipping to Port Klang, Malaysia takes approximately 10-14 days by sea freight. Expedited production available for urgent projects with 20% surcharge.
Can you meet TNB/PEA specific technical specifications?
Absolutely. We have extensive experience meeting Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) and Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) specifications. Our welders are qualified to AWS D1.1 standards, and we can perform additional testing including Charpy impact testing, ultrasonic testing (UT), and magnetic particle inspection (MPI) as required. All materials can be sourced with mill test certificates (MTC) and third-party inspection by SGS, TUV, or Bureau Veritas.
What warranties do you provide?
We provide a 20-year structural integrity warranty and 10-year corrosion protection warranty on all galvanized components. Warranty covers defects in material and workmanship under normal use conditions. Extended warranty packages available including annual inspection services and maintenance support. All warranty claims are processed within 48 hours with replacement parts shipped within 2 weeks.
Do you offer installation supervision?
Yes, we provide comprehensive installation support including on-site supervision by our experienced engineers, technical training for local crews, and real-time video consultation. For large projects, we recommend 2-3 days of on-site supervision during the first tower assembly. Installation manuals are provided in English, Malay, and Thai with detailed bolt torque sequences and alignment procedures.
